After immersing myself in stylized environments for some time, I felt the need to return to realism. While browsing for references, I came across an image of a striking structure in a Turkish village, its aged yet resilient presence immediately drew my attention and desire to recreate it. With no location tags and only a single photo to guide me, I set out to uncover its origin. The search became a journey of its own, eventually leading me to the town of Afyonkarahisar. Along the way, I not only found new angles and insights into the building’s architecture, but also learned pieces of its historical context, adding unexpected depth to the project.
